Have fun while exploring art together! “What’s in the Box?” is the Museum’s signature program for children ages 2 to 5 and their caregivers. Live virtual 45-minute sessions include guided looking at works of art, movement and sensory experiences, and art activities that stretch the imagination.
For this session we’ll play with light and look at Chris McCaw’s photograph Sunburned GSP #419 (Arctic Circle Alaska).
Reserve your spot for this free session through the ticketing link. Questions? Email Angela Lombardi.
We are working to make our online content accessible. If you need live captions or an ASL interpreter or have another request, email Felicia Ingram.
How to prepare for this program
We will send you a list of suggested materials before the workshop date so you can have these, and any other art-making materials you’d like to use, ready before the virtual session.
While you can use a smartphone to join, for an optimal experience we recommend using a desktop, laptop, or tablet so that you can see images and meeting tools on a larger screen.
Log on a few minutes early to get familiar with the view options, chat box, and other functions.
