Join us for a joyful and expansive session celebrating abundance! This hourlong virtual program guides you through a creative visioning exercise, a meditation, and a group discussion of abundance and myths about scarcity. Considering the ways food and abundance are portrayed in art, the experience is centered on the Dutch painting Still Life with Two Figures alongside Indigenous representations.
This session is taught by Lumbee Tribe member Jesalyn Keziah, MSW, whose work focuses on integrating art, nature, community, and Indigenous mental health.
Designed for ages 16 and up. For questions about the content of this program, email Bryanne Senor.
While the Museum is now open, Museum from Home programming continues, including the new NCMA Virtual Exhibitions Subscription and ongoing virtual events. Through the NCMA Recommends virtual offerings below, inspired by the Museum collection, we hope to foster contemplation, meditation, and creativity.
