East Building, Studio 1
In light of Governor Cooper’s state of emergency declaration and recommendations regarding large gatherings, this event has been canceled.
Join us as we explore the people of the Museum’s collection up close and personal. Our sessions include guided looks at works of art from the Museum, process-art investigations, and full sensory experiences. We make connections through stories, art making, movement activities, and gallery play. Everyone can collect “What’s in the Box?” cards in English or Spanish.
Have fun while exploring art together. Each 45-minute session introduces a work of art from the Museum and includes activities that stretch the imagination. For preschoolers, ages 2–5, and their caregivers. Purchase individual tickets online or sign up that day at the Museum Box Office.
Family programs are generously supported by Duke Energy and WakeMed Children’s Hospital.
