The Yoga Almanac, co-authored by Raleigh-based yoga teacher Andrea Rice, aligns yoga practices with the astrological seasons. Join Rice for this two-hour outdoor experience of practical yoga and mindfulness exercises to embody the awakening energy of spring, and discover how it relates to current astrological patterns. You’ll be guided through a simple yoga practice, meditation, and an everyday ritual for intention-setting. Dress comfortably and bring a yoga mat, notebook, and water bottle. Price includes a copy of the book. All skill levels welcome; ages 16 and up.
“Spring is an opportunity for renewal and rebirth, for planting seeds to nurture and for witnessing the unending cycle of growth and change. It is also a reminder that we cannot be born again until we experience a death—a shedding of old layers, habits, and outmoded beliefs. Springtime is ripe for new possibility” (The Yoga Almanac).
