The film festival Home Is Distant Shores looks at the experience of immigrants and refugees in the U.S. and the Triangle. The three-part series includes fictional and documentary pieces from local filmmakers, expert panel discussions, and a celebratory reception.
Presented in collaboration with International Focus, filmmaker Aby Rao, and the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants North Carolina.
