East Building, Level A, Studio 1
In this daylong workshop, Patricia Savage, award-winning member of the Society of Animal Artists, guides students in the drybrush watercolor technique used by scientific illustrators. Students examine specimens on loan from the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences and then paint from photographs. All supplies are included, and all skill levels welcome; ages 16 and up. Bring a lunch if desired.
