Choreographers Murielle Elizéon and Tommy Noonan share the creative process behind "Je suis belle," a dance piece commissioned by the NCMA in 2017. The workshop begins with a warm-up and continues with a study of the physicality, body textures, and imagery related to specific Rodin sculptures in the NCMA collection. Finally, participants will be invited to embody their own expression of Rodin’s work alone or in a pair.
Participants should wear comfortable clothes and socks. No dance experience required.
