TICKETS

Explore the magic of light! At this event (free, ticket required), create your own projection art using the Tagtool app, and discover light and shadow through hands-on art-making activities and demonstrations. Participants can also enjoy interactive storytelling projections led by artist collective OMAi (paid, ticket required for for children 3–18).

Special offer! Visitors to Family Day can receive a free youth ticket (ages 7–18) to You Are Here with a paid adult ticket.

Ticketing How-To

Entry to Family Day is free, but a ticket is required. Free tickets available here.

To participate in storytelling sessions throughout the day (see schedule below), a paid ticket for children 3–18 is required in addition to free entry tickets. Adults and children under 2 are not ticketed. Purchase storytelling tickets here.

Families with kids age 2 and under only don't need to purchase tickets for the storytelling sessions and will be given access on a first-come, first-served basis.

Schedule of Activities

Please note: Because of rain, all activities will be in East Building. Family Day visitors should enter through the East Building Lobby.

10 am–4 pm ongoing: Art making and Bubble-ology with Duke Chemistry Outreach (free, East Building Level A)

Storytelling Sessions with OMAi (paid, ticket required for children 3–18; East Building Level C): 10:30 AM, 11:30 AM, 12:30 PM, 1:30 PM, 2:30 PM, and 3:30 PM
