Shannon Harris is an exhibition designer at the North Carolina Museum of Art, a job she came to after studying Industrial Design at the College of Design at NC State University and discovering that designing museum exhibitions is way more interesting than designing appliances or automobiles. Shannon’s major contributions to the NCMA include “Jeffery Blue” (the gallery color for Monet in Normandy), that popcorn sign that says “Concessions” at the Park Theater, photomurals for the Track Out wing of the Education Department, and about 25 cardboard cut-outs of works in the new Rodin collection. She’s very excited to hear what people think about the new building, so come by in April and take a look!
