It’s time-lapse time once again. This one documents the installation of Congregation in the new African gallery. Artist Ledelle Moe builds the “congregation” one concrete head at a time, all the while talking with onlookers, engaging curators, and bantering with conservators. Natural light also plays a starring role. (Check out the installation photos.)
Special thanks to David Mueller, who kindly gave permission to use a track from the Heads on Sticks EP, Oak City Version. (Hat tip, New Raleigh.)
Note: That the name of the band fits the subject matter perfectly is just lovely serendipity.
