Wheelchair Accessibility

The Joseph M. Bryan, Jr., Theater in the Museum Park is wheelchair accessible from the Museum's main parking lot. The path leading from the Blue Ridge street level parking lot is not ADA compliant.

For concerts: Upon entering the ticket gate, follow the black top path on the right around the grass seating area. The first break in the path on the left leads to our wheelchair accessible patio. The path continues down to the left side of the stage for access to the restrooms.

For films: Upon entering the ticket gate, follow the blac top path on the right around the grass seating area. Continue on the path to the rear of the amphitheater stage area. Take the ramps to the wooden viewing platform facing the screen.

If you have any questions, contact the Museum Box Office at (919) 715-5923. If you need assistance while in the Park, an Arts in the Museum Park volunteer can assist you.

Join Us for a Picnic

Picnics are always welcome in the amphitheater—or enjoy great food from Blue Ridge, the Museum Restaurant, the perfect complement to our outdoor events. Enjoy a full menu during concerts or snacks during movies.

Although visitors may not bring alcoholic beverages onto Museum property, a selection of wines by the glass or the bottle is offered at concerts and films. Water and other nonalcoholic beverages are also available.
