Contact

While the doors may be closed, the Museum is as busy as ever. We are moving works of art, preparing galleries, conserving the collection, planning the opening, building a Web site, the list goes on.

But we are still here for you. Let us know your comments and suggestions, and let us answer your questions. If you can’t find what you’re looking for in the quick links or FAQ, use the contact form or call us.

Internships

Internships at the North Carolina Museum of Art provide opportunities to become familiar with and actively contribute to the inner workings of an art museum. They offer a challenging, hands-on learning experience in museum careers. Learn more about the Internship Program.

Docents

Docents are volunteer gallery teachers who engage groups of adults and children in exploring the collection and exhibitions. The Docent Training Program requires a two-year commitment. During this period of preparation, prospective docents practice techniques of teaching and stimulating group discussion while they become familiar with the works of art and the collection of the Museum.

Those interested in joining future docent classes should email their contact information to the Docent Educator.
