Exhibition Description
Crosscurrents, presented in collaboration with The Mint Museums in Charlotte, N.C., is a juried exhibition of works by North Carolina artists working in various media. (Crosscurrents replaces the former North Carolina Artists Exhibition.) Crosscurrents includes a broad range of works by 24 artists. The works address political and cultural issues of worldwide significance and present-day urgency; they give attention to the human body, the specific individual and ultimately aesthetic matters such as beauty and perception.
