ART DAY
Art Day provides the public with an opportunity to bring in works of art for inspection by the Museum's art professionals. Art Day take place twice a year, and is a free service of the Museum's curators and conservators.
Our art professionals will be able to speak to the style of your work of art or help you learn more about a particular artist represented in your personal collection. Museum conservators will be on hand to discuss the condition of works of art or provide restoration recommendations.
Please note the following:
- Museum staff cannot appraise works of art, but are happy to provide the contact information of those who can.
- Art is inspected on a first-come, first-served basis.
- In order to accommodate as many participants as possible, the Museum asks that visitors bring in no more than one work of art for inspection.
- Because the Museum does not collect Asian art, furniture, or other decorative arts, such items cannot be inspected.
