Medieval Myth-Busting
Saturday, September 27 | 9:30 a.m.–noon

Join us as we debunk commonly held ideas about the medieval period and its art. The Museum’s outstanding collection of medieval painting and sculpture are our classroom and muse as we transform the so-called Dark Ages into an era as vibrant and brilliant as the Renaissance. The Grand Tour
Saturday, October 18 | 9:30 a.m.–noon

Complete your classical education on the Grand Tour. All the noble men and women of 18th-century England are doing it. Journey to Venice, Florence, Rome, and Naples to see the natural and man-made wonders of the Italian peninsula. When you return home, your knowledge of history will be sharper and your taste for art more refined. You may even carry home a souvenir or two from your travels. Most importantly, this gallery adventure will teach you to value art in a new way. (Credit .25 CEU) Registration deadline: Monday, October 6
