Our Transformation: The Campaign for the North Carolina Museum of Art
The successful completion of the Our Transformation campaign signals the close of one of the most exciting periods in the NCMA’s history. The campaign, begun in 2006 and concluding at the end of 2013, was conceived as part of the larger vision to expand the Museum campus, the hallmark of which is West Building. The purpose of the campaign was to secure the Museum’s promise in a way that both protects its legacy and transforms its future.
We are pleased to share with you the results of the Our Transformation Campaign, the largest campaign in the NCMA has ever launched. Our campaign contributors committed $50.6M to this effort, which provides support for endowment, programs, the Museum Park, landscaping around West Building, support for general operations, and special projects. The breakdown of the campaign results is as follows:
Endowment - $24.8M
Programs - $5M
Museum grounds - $8.9M
General support - $7.6M
Special projects - $4.3M
