East Building, SECU Auditorium
Some of the Triangle’s most talented slammers align against domestic violence and sexual assault to deliver poetic protests and words of healing. Works from the Museum’s permanent collection serve as a backdrop for their stirring performances. Presented in collaboration with Stand Up-Speak Out of North Carolina.
The Poetry Slam is sold out, but overflow seating is available adjacent to the auditorium with a live video feed in Studio 1.
