Studio Art: Tapestry in Miniature

Tapestry artist Turid Teague guides you in creating the shapes and patterns that have defined textiles around the world for centuries. Using a small, simple loom that is prewarped with linen yarn, learn the basic techniques of tapestry making and create a small weaving.

Three-hour studio class followed by one-hour lunch with the instructor.  Bring a bag lunch. All materials are supplied, including a small loom to keep for future tapestry projects. Register online or call the Museum Box Office, (919) 715-5923.
