An icon is an artistic portrait of an important person that uses symbols to tell us about his or her life. Create a modern iconic portrait of yourself or someone important to you using mixed media. Selected works from this workshop will be displayed in an upcoming NCMA exhibition!
A new gallery and studio class for youth ages 11–14! Be inspired by work in the galleries and in the Museum Park, and then head back into the studio to explore new materials and processes. Each workshop introduces a new theme and allows focused time to be creative with friends. Register online, by calling (919) 715-5923, or in person at the Museum Box Office.
