Try your hand at making a silhouette, a popular form of American art in the 19th century. You’ll enjoy a trip to the galleries to discover how a contemporary artist used this traditional art form to create a “revolutionary” painting.
Gallery tour plus studio workshops for families. Kids and adults delight in exploring the Museum’s collection, creating projects together, and discovering one another’s creativity. A different theme each time means there’s always something new to explore. Register online, by calling (919) 715-5923, or in person at the Museum Box Office.
