A storm savages a vessel carrying the Patel family zoo, stranding Pi in a lifeboat with a Bengal tiger named Richard Parker. Life of Pi is adapted from Yann Martel’s beloved book and directed by Ang Lee; it won Oscars for directing, cinematography, music, and visual effects.
