Please Note: Due to the strong possibility of evening thunderstorms, Justin Roberts and the Not Ready for Naptime Players will perform indoors on the Main Level of East Building, at the regularly scheduled time. Coolers will not be permitted nor will concessions be available for purchase. The performance is one hour. A limited number of tickets are still available from the Box Office.
Called “the Paul McCartney of kids’ music” by USA Today, Justin Roberts is one of the most respected singer-songwriters in the indie family music scene. Recipients of six Parents’ Choice Gold Awards, Justin and his band perform intelligent and whimsically rocking music for kids and their parents.
Justin’s first album, Great Big Sun, wowed the critics and drew comparisons with the songwriting talents of Elvis Costello and Paul Simon. His latest CD, Jungle Gym, was nominated for a Grammy Award.
If you’ve enjoyed NCMA favorite Dan Zanes and Friends, you won’t want to miss Justin Roberts and the Not Ready for Naptime Players.
