Teacher Workshop: Teaching Visual Literacy

Get comfortable looking at art, discussing it critically, and using it as an instructional resource. Forge relationships between visual and text-based literacy, and identify correlations with the new Common Core State Standards for English Language Arts. Participants earn 0.5 CEU in Reading. Registration required.
*Pairs of teachers from the same school representing different subject areas (such as ELA and visual arts) who register together receive a discounted rate of $15 each.
