Friday, April 20 | 11 am
East Building | Museum Auditorium
$23 Members (per session)

Who were Egypt’s neighbors, and did they get along? Was Egypt influenced by foreign cultures? Find out as Caroline Rocheleau, the NCMA’s curator of ancient art, discusses ancient Egypt’s international relations with surrounding nations in Nubia, Mesopotamia, Libya, the Levantine Coast, and the Mediterranean.

These seminars begin with a lecture by curators or other experts, and the discussion continues over a lunch catered by Iris, the Museum Restaurant. Register online, by calling (919) 715-5923, or in person at the NCMA Box Office. Registration and payment for the combined program required by 4 pm on the Wednesday before the event.
