How to Buy Tickets
Tickets may be purchased online or by phone at (919) 715-5923.
There is a $3 per order service charge for online and phone orders. Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express are accepted online.
The Box Office accepts cash, personal checks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Online and phone orders are credit card only.
Members' Tickets
Members are eligible for free or discounted tickets to most Museum events. The level of membership determines the number of free or discounted tickets available to each member. Visit the Members' page for more information.
Box Office
Tickets may be purchased in person at the Museum Box Office, by calling (919) 715-5923, or online.

The Museum Box Office is located in the lobby of East Building.
Hours:
Tuesday–Thursday: 10 am–5 pm
Friday: 10 am–9 pm
Saturday–Sunday: 10 am–5 pm
Closed Mondays
For events taking place after regular hours, the Museum Box Office opens two hours before the start of outdoor events and one hour prior to the start of indoor events.
Get your tickets quickly in the Cash Only line. Now available at concerts and movies, the Cash Only window will be open at the Box Office in East Building. Only cash is accepted for tickets purchased at this window.

Advance Purchases
Tickets ordered at least two weeks in advance may be mailed at the customer's request. Tickets held for will-call may be picked up at the Box Office.
Children
The children's ticket policy varies based upon the event. For paid special exhibitions, children six and under are admitted free with an adult. For most concerts and films, tickets are required for any child six and up.
Service Fees
There is a nonrefundable $3 service fee on each order placed online or by phone.
Refunds and Exchanges
Tickets for all Museum events are sold on a no-refund, no-exchange basis. Refunds will be issued only if an event is canceled.
