FLIGHT PLANS
Teacher Resources for Defying Gravity: Contemporary Art and Flight
"If we all worked on the assumption that what is accepted as true is really true, there would be little hope of advance."
Orville Wright
Drawing on the ease and accessibility of the Internet, the Education Department has created Flight Plans to help schools and families get the most out of Defying Gravity: Contemporary Art and Flight and the related celebration, Into the Blue. This section includes biographies of selected artists from the exhibition, ideas for fun and educational activities in the classrooms and at home, a series of lesson plans for school courses, reading lists, exhibition information and links to additional resources.
