Paperhand’s 15th annual spectacle/pageant for all ages. The award-winning troupe uses masks, giant puppets, stilts, painted cardboard, and shadows, all with live music, to tell stories, illuminate myth, and make the world a better place.

This year in The Painted Bird, Paperhand explores the realms of imagination and creation through color. Rabbits, moles, mice, and hedgehogs live in harmony in a magical world until a great grayness begins to spread across the land. Find out what happens, be a part of the solution, and join us for an enchanted evening of creativity, community, and fun!

Four stars. “Clearly one of the most strongly staged productions in the group’s history.”—Byron Woods, Indy Week

Preshow performed by Steph Stewart & the Boyfriends, 6:20 pm.
