Please Pass the Stories: Celebrating the Art of the Table

Feast your eyes on the art of the table with its cornucopias of fruits and foods throughout the ages and discover the stories that surround them. This engaging program presents highlighted works taken from Still-Life Masterpieces: A Visual Feast from the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston along with favorites from the North Carolina Museum of Art.
Using art as inspiration, seniors will reflect on times spent with family and friends around the table—sharing special occasions, dishes, and conversation. Participants will also enjoy crafting their own place settings and design a special dinner for some very special guests.
